TWO JUMP ABILITIES ONE SHARED GOAL
Automatic movement keeps both characters advancing in Bros Jump, while double jumps and wall jumps give each player a different way to handle obstacles. This two-player puzzle platformer builds its levels around teamwork, with progress depending on how the pair combines those abilities.
Switches, locked doors, movable boxes, and puzzles stand between the characters and their goal. Reaching the end requires coordinating actions across these obstacles, since each character brings a different movement ability to the same route. The shared objective makes both roles part of solving the level.
Guide Both Characters Through Obstacles
Each player controls jumping with a single input while movement happens automatically. Player 1 uses the Up Arrow key or the Blue Jump Button to perform a double jump. Player 2 uses the W key or the Red Jump Button to perform a wall jump.
In Bros Jump, timing those inputs is the main way to influence each character’s movement. Organize the different jumps to go over barriers, switch on switches, push boxes and open doors. Consider how each move functions to get both characters through the level, rather than just as a standalone jumping puzzle.
WHAT DEFINES THIS JUMP PARTNERSHIP
The emphasis is on collaboration in the use of different jump talents and a small number of controls. It’s for 2 players who have to coordinate their movement and at the same time face environmental obstacles. The set design features several sequences with inset purple panels, rivets, and ventilation grates to create an industrial environment around the obstacles.
Coordinate double jumps, wall jumps, and the activities needed to solve each problem and get both characters to the destination in Bros Jump.
