HoldFrame opens a futuristic battlefield bathed in neon lights, where waves of enemies relentlessly surge in with increasing intensity. You'll control a combat spaceship orbiting a central energy core, trying to stop the enemy before your defenses collapse.
The gameplay is divided into two distinct phases. As night falls, players focus on eliminating enemies and gathering energy. At dawn, this brief period is used to reinforce defenses before a new challenge begins.
Fight Smart Instead of Standing Still
In HoldFrame, firepower is automatically activated based on the direction the spaceship is facing. Therefore, navigation skills are more important than constantly pressing the attack button. Each change of direction directly affects the firing position, requiring precise movement to both dodge enemies and maximize damage output.
Successfully eliminating waves of enemies will provide the necessary energy for building. Conversely, if the energy core is completely destroyed, the conquest will end immediately.
The longer you survive, the more monsters appear, and the more flexible your tactics become to avoid being overwhelmed.
Build Defenses Before Darkness Returns
After each battle, the system will enter a construction phase. This is an opportunity to use accumulated energy to reinforce the defensive perimeter around the core.
